“Right-sizing Regulatory Agencies – what is needed?”
The Organization Of Caribbean Utility Regulators (OOCUR) is pleased to announce its annual conference in Paramaribo, Suriname from October 29 to 31, 2024, under the theme: Right-sizing Regulatory Agencies – what is needed?
The Conference will explore and examine issues that are of critical importance to the economic and social development of the regional economies and the success of, and challenges being experienced by the electricity, ICT and water and wastewater sectors.
The event is targeted towards regional regulatory agencies, development partners, utility personnel, government officials, academics, and senior managers utility affiliated organizations.
Interested persons are invited to submit abstracts of approximately 100 words with titles, for consideration, by July 31, 2024. Persons whose papers are accepted must submit either the paper or a PowerPoint presentation by September 30, 2024.
The topics listed below are not exhaustive and presenters may choose those
concerning any of the sectors (ICT, Electricity, or Water) with a focus on best practices, lessons learned, or successful implementation. Click “read more” below to view the topics.
